I have no motivation. None. I'm still watching what I eat, but I haven't felt like going to the gym.
I need a cheerleader, that's the bottom line. Sadly, I don't want to pay $60/hr for a damn cheerleader.

DAY 10!
Hi!
Today was dandy! It was raining outside! It's WONDERFUL!
The Gym: It went OK. I made an appointment with one of the personal trainers to teach me how to use weights properly and what have you.

Hi!
OK, Mondays are my "off" days, so unless I feel like it, don't except anything on Mondays. With that being said, there seems to be some confusion with my dates/timing.
I started OPERATION JAMAICA on Monday of last week. However, I did not start the blog till Tuesday (or Wednesday?). Hence why there's a day (or two?) missing. Yesterday marked day 8 in OPERATION JAMAICA, today, DAY 9.
It felt GOOD to not work out yesterday! AND, since I was able to give my leggies a day off, they KICKED ASS and TOOK NAMES today! I did 4--FOUR!!--MILES today on the Elliptical! (KATE: yes, my feet started to go numb too.. :->)
I did 59:56 minutes (not including cool down)
burned 433 calories
4.23 MILES!
Distance climbed 4545feet
Average speed:4.28mph
Average speed: 13:59/Mile ---- This was actually "lower" but I started to mix things up, which slowed my time down! See, I use this fancy shmancy Elliptical that has a virtual track, so on the "bends" I would go backwards, then, on the straight aways, I would go forwards. Sadly, it wasn't a smooth transaction, so my time was affected.
Average heart rate: 163
Now, on to the food issue.
1200 calories is a LOT of calories! And, it seems like I never eat enough! Right now, not factoring in my calories burned, I still need to consume 150calories! and that's in the "to lose 1.4lbs a week.." category! So, as of right now, I've consumed 1050 calories. So if I consumed 1050cals, and I worked off 433cals, that's 617cals that I "consumed"--so am I "starving" myself? I'm so confused :(
I've decided that I shouldn't work out in groups. I don't like it. Working out is personal and private for me. And I don't think others "get it." *sigh*

Day Five AND a NEW Record!
Howdy!
So, Today I set a new record for myself.
I've gone to the gym SIX days in a ROW! AND my goal was to do 1.5miles on the Elliptical--I did 2 miles!!
I was (am) so proud of myself! Tomorrow is my DAY OFF from the gym.. and I can't wait!

Day 4!
Today is a RECORD! I have gone to the gym 5 DAYS IN A ROW! Hell MUST be freezing!
Ok, so my day:
Today was good for exercising and all that, but not good for the calorie intakes! Me and two of my pals went to the Dover Apple Harvest Festival, and MAN, the food was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. fried dough, steak tips, carmel apples, and apple cider! I resisted the french fries, thank you LONG ass line!
I went to the gym, on top of all that walking that we did! I ended up doing 25minutes in the Elliptical. I would go at it for 5 minutes, stop to stretch out my legs, go for another 5 minute, stop and stretch again.. my legs were just SO tight (um, STS?) that it was painful. So I stretched them out for a good 10minutes, and hopped back on the ol' boy! At this time, a navy hopped on his machine. He was my motivation! Oh man! In my 15 minutes, I did a little over a mile. He, however, did close to 3 miles in 15 minutes! He was trucking! we both stopped and pulled out our ear phone, and I told him that he was awesome, and was my motivation! He laughed and said "It's all about effort." I think I made a friend :-) I like friends. Friends make me happy. And me being happy, makes for a happy Dave. Deployed or not. :-)
Tomorrow, my goal is to do 2 miles on the Elliptical. God help me!

Day 3...
Today is Day three, and I had a date with Satan.
Anyways,
I need to figure something out on Tuesdays/Thursdays. I eat before class (usually breakfast..) but then I have three classes back to back to back. It's hard to eat in the last class, because the entire class is SO quiet. I DO eat in my second class. What I have been doing is bringing a Banana and a granola bar or pretzels and split them up between the two classes. But, I am STARVING when I get home :-(
I've been very good about keeping at my 1200 cals--somedays! On the days, I tend to be 100-200cals below my target cal intake. Bah!
My work out was pretty good! According to the Elliptical, I did a 3k (maybe 2k?). Then Satan and I did pilates. We closed the gym DOWN! We were the last two left! It was ONLY 8pm!

Operation Jamaica!
Today is day two of "Get Kayla's ass in shape!" aka: Operation Jamaica!
Yesterday, I worked out with a great friend, we'll call her Satan! We worked out for an hour! Today, I am sore! It hurts so bad to laugh and cough! Gah! I love you Satan!
Today, I just did cardio for 40minutes. AH!
I'm also doing www.myfooddiary.com and am "counting calories.." I'm trying to maintain 1200cals. Which, actually isn't too hard for me. Oh, I also "gave up" soda... minus the sprite I had last night. And it's funny, I do not like Sprite! In fact, I dislike most Coke products!
I have another Date with Satan tomorrow. We'll see how it goes!
